The Cardinal had a 13-game winning streak snapped in a 27-21 loss at Utah last week and faced the possibility of two straight defeats for the first time since losses to Oregon State and Arizona in October 2009. Backup Stanford kicker Conrad Ukropina missed a 46-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.
